Function of the Formula:

Harmonize the Shao Yang, clears heat, dispels cold, warm interior, disperses clumpin, stops sweating (shao yang disorder with fluids accumulating in the interior, malarial disorders, liver and gallbladder heat with stomach cold

Symptoms that are indicated for this formula:

Alternating chills and fever, loose stools, night sweats, diarrhea, dry cough, insomnia, irritability, thirst, headache, aversion to wind and cold, cold extremities, palpitations, sweating on head, chills without fever,

Tongue:  white, slippery

Pulse: wiry, tight, slow, irregular
