Function of the Formula:

Dries dampness, transforms phlegm, harmonizes the stomach and spleen, regulates qi (wind-phlegm and phlegm-damp disturbing the lungs

Symptoms that are indicated for this formula:

Cough with white sputum that is easily expectorated, productive cough, rattling in the throat, chest and epigastric fullness, headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, wheezing, shortness of breath, throat nodules, panting,

Tongue:  swollen, white, greasy

Pulse:  slippery, soft
