Function of the Formula:

Disperses wind dampness, tonifies the liver and kidneys, nourishes blood, tonifies qi, stops bi pain (Bi syndrome, atrophy wei disorder, wind-cold-damp invasion)

Symptoms that are indicated for this formula:

Wind-cold-damp bi-pain with underlying liver, kidney, qi and blood deficiency, pain and weakness of the lower back and extremities, heavy and painful fixed sensations in lower back and extremities, palpitations, stiffness, spasms, numbness of the extremities, joint pain, cold in the low back and knees, muscle spasms, wandering pain, fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, pale complexion, limited mobility

Tongue:  thin, white, pale

Pulse:  thin, slow, weak, slippery

Formula Cost:

$56 US dollars for 200 grams of powder (A typical daily dose is between 5 and 15 grams or 1-3 teaspoons).  200 grams is the equivalent of 400 – 500mg capsules.  Formula should be taken in two equally divided doses throughout the day and is mixed with water or juice and swallowed.
