Function of the Formula:

Nourishes, Harmonizes and Invigorates the Blood, Stops Pain, Nourishes the Yin, Calms the Mind (Liver Yin and Blood Deficiency)

Symptoms that are indicated for this formula:

Scanty, short or delayed menses, menstrual pain, post-menstrual fatigue, post-partum fatigue and weakness, poor memory, dizziness, dry eyes, visual weakness, muscle spasm or twitching, numb or tingling extremities, palpitations, headache, blurring of vision, tremors, anxiety, palpitations, insomnia, pale complexion and lips, dry hair and skin, a tendency toward dry stools or constipation, hair loss, cracked, pale or brittle nails, slow healing sores.

Tongue: pink, red, dry

Pulse: rapid, wiry, rapid

Formula Cost:  $54 US dollars for 200 grams (A typical daily dose is between 5 and 15 grams or 1-3 teaspoons).  200 grams is the equivalent of 400 – 500mg capsules.  Formula should be taken in two equally divided doses throughout the day and is mixed with water or juice and swallowed.  For maximum effect, formulas should be take in conjunction with Chinese food therapy and diet and lifestyle changes.
